The East of England Sense of Place consortium consists of five local organisations: Cambridgeshire County Council, Essex County Council, Norfolk County Council, Peterborough City Council and Suffolk County Council.

The consortium is working on a digitisation project to create an internet bank of learning resources offering access to the culture, heritage and diversity of the region.

Each partner will provide an exciting insight into the collections within their individual organisations, contributing to a 'Sense of Place' for the region. These will contain images of archives, artefacts and printed sources will soon be added to the EESOP portal.

This project is funded by the New Opportunities Fund with matched funding from the consortium.
